The Tenement Series is an homage to our immigrant forbears. Some of the works are semi-autobiographical, as they include photo transfers of family photographs. Using photo transfers and paint this abstracted "history" of an immigrant family"s growth from arrival to the United States to second and third generation prosperity. Colors used are grays, red oxide, brown, black and white.
