Dragon Dance

The first in a group of abstract paintings in which I experimented with using organic shapes rather than the rectilinear shapes used in most of my abstractions. In this piece the shapes reminded me of dragons dancing around the canvas, hence the title. This strong image uses only two primary colors, red and blue, with accents of yellow green; all are painted over a textured surface.
